Nella giornata di Lunedì 23 Marzo, le strade del Notts County e del team di allenatori si sono separate.

Decisione difficilissima quella presa dalla dirigenza che però ha dovuto dare un segnale dopo gli ultimi mesi disastrosi.

La direttrice Aileen Trew ha così commentato:"Questa è sicuramente la decisione più difficile che abbiamo preso come Dirigenza perché sappiamo quanto Shaun e Greg siano legati al Notts e viceversa. Di loso posso dire solo cose positive".

Derry e Abbott saranno sostituiti da Paul Hart e Mick Halsall già dalla decisiva sfida contro lo Scunthorpe United.

Scelta che speriamo porti esiti positivi, ma che sicuramente lascia con l'amaro in bocca.

Shaun e Greg arrivarono sulla panchina dei Magpies durante la scorsa stagione, contribuendo a salvare la squadra da una quasi certa retrocessione.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di poterli incontrare durante il nostro ultimo viaggio a Nottingham e sicuramente è stato subito chiaro il loro legame con la squadra.
